Something has flowered for us
In our day-to-day work, the topic of corporate culture is always on our minds. In relation to our customers, but we also want to nurture and cultivate our own. That's why we went to Mannheim on a wonderful, warm fall day to visit the Federal Garden Show.
In our luggage we had a good mood, great curiosity and almost all of our colleagues who work for and with us to ensure that the b*k plant always thrives. After a completely trouble-free train journey, we arrived at the former Spinelli military site in the north-east of Mannheim. There we were met by the best BUGA guide we could have wished for and shown around the grounds.
While some listened attentively to her explanations, others kept disappearing into flower fields or exhibition rooms, sticking their noses delightfully into the fragrant plants. We all admired the beauty of the flowers and the diversity of ideas in the design of the area.
After a snack, the cable car built especially for the BUGA transported us to Luisenpark. Past old giant trees, lush green lawns and the largest original Chinese teahouse in Europe, we ended our excursion by walking through the city to the Rheinterrassen. Finally, we rounded off the day with cool drinks and good food at the Gasthaus am Fluss (highly recommended!) before taking the train back to Stuttgart.
It may not sound all that spectacular, but we took a lot away with us: We don't need a lot of chichi to exchange ideas with each other. We are happy about the good interaction between the different personalities in our team.
We enjoy exploring together. And it was good for us to discover new things and meet each other in a relaxed way in a different setting. We'll definitely do it again next year. Let's see where we go then.
