Beautiful places - at metropolis and in province

Our client´s projects are taking us to beautiful places - to the Swabian province to Waiblingen and to the Austrian metropolis of Vienna. There is also an architectal gem to discover at Kirchheim am Neckar. So we take you with us at our current media information to an expedition to the "Hotel Bachofer" in Waiblingen, what meant fulfilling a long cherished dream to the Michelin chef Bernd Bachofer, and we jump to Vienna into the new "Andaz Vienna am Belvedere". And finally, again in the province, we head for the gingerly sanified "Alte Kelter" in Kirchheim am Neckar.

Vineyards, orchard meadows and timbered houses - Waiblingen is an idyllic town nord-east from Stuttgart. Here the Michelin chef Bernd Bachofer was fulfilling his long-cherished dream and was opening over his restaurant at the marketplace in Waiblingen the Hotel Bachofer in May 2019. The Boutique Design Hotel is offering eight individually designed comfort rooms who are all named like spices. Whether saffron, nutmeg or cardamon, every room i slovingly arranged. Special attention was paid to the high-quality equipment of the sanitary areas that were equipped together by the interior designer Sabine Schneider and the bathroom expert Wahl from Stuttgart.

Since 1532 the "Alte Kelter" is an important institution at Kirchheim am Neckar. Formerly used as a wine press, the building now serves as a cultural site and for the weekly market of the township. WIth careful interventions lohmannarchitekt (Stuttgart) renovated the protected monument to an atmospheric space that is protecting all traces of the past and at the same time meets today´s requirements. "To get back to the old beauty, unnecessary things were removed and a festive room was created", explains the architect Holger Lohmann who is responsible for this sensitive concept.

The biggest intervention of the renovation, that was finished in 2018, was happening in the interior: Here the architects removed the ceiling to expose the impressive timbered house and to take the "Alte Kelter" of its denseness.
